Cyber Club
The Cyber Club was established in 2023, aims to raise awareness about cyber crimes among college students. Victims of cyber crimes will be given information on how to report cyber crimes. It is advised to contact National Cyber Department Reporting Portal (www.cybercrime.org) or toll free number 1930 in case of cyber crimes. A separate WhatsApp group for staff coordinators has been functioning to discuss cyber crimes among members.

- A Tech Talk on “Cyber Security” was conducted by the Cyber Club of our college in association with the Social Responsibility Cell of the Department of Computer Technology and Information Technology on 13.09.2024. Mr. S.SriAravindhSiddharthan, Security Engineer, Victories Secret India Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru was the resource person.
- An Online Quiz on “Cyber Security” was conducted for the Higher Secondary School students from 25.12.2024 to 02.01.2025 by the Cyber Club of our college in association with the Social Responsibility Cell of the Department of Computer Technology and Information Technology. Totally 102 beneficiaries benefited through this quiz.
- An Awareness Programme on “Digital Arrest” was conducted on 31.01.2025 for the Arts and Science stream students of our college. The student coordinators of the Cyber Club of our college and the students of the Social Responsibility Cell of the Department of Computer Technology and Information Technology created awareness among 2770 students. The programme aimed to equip students with essential knowledge on cyber safety and the legal consequences of cyber offences, fostering a sense of digital responsibility and vigilance.
- A Digital Literacy Programme was conducted on 31.01.2025 for the Class-D Employees of Sri Neshika Traders,Rayapalayam, Erode. Ms.C.Uma, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Technology and Information Technology created awareness among 9employees. The Programme inspired them towards the digital literacy.
- An Awareness Programme on “Mobile Security” was conducted on 21.02.2025 in association with Cyber Club of our college and the Social Responsibility Cell of the Department of Computer Technology and Information Technology for the benefit of the kollampalayam school students, Erode. The Programme inspired them towards the mobile security.
- An Online Quiz on “Cyber Security” was conducted for the Higher Secondary School students from 12.02.2024 to 18.02.2024 by the Cyber Club of our college in association with the Social Responsibility Cell of the Department of Computer Technology and Information Technology. Totally 57 benefiaries benefited through this quiz.
- An Awareness Programme on “Mobile Security” was conducted on 17.02.2024 in association with Cyber Club of our college and the Social Responsibility Cell of the Department of Computer Technology and Information Technology for the benefit of the students of PKP Swamy Matric Higher Secondary School, Modakurichi, Erode. This programme made almost 180 students literate in Mobile Security.
- An Awareness Programme on “Cyber Security” was conducted on 20.02.2024 for the Arts and Science stream students of our college. The student coordinators s of the Cyber Club of our college and the students of the Social Responsibility Cell of the Department of Computer Technology and Information Technology created awareness among 2795 students. The Programme inspired them towards the latest technology of cyber forum.
