Career Guidance and Counselling Cell

Career is one intent mainly on personal advancement and success in life. Career counseling is given to the students to help them develop career and decision making skills. The cell actively promotes the student to participate UPSC and TNPSC Examinations. It conducts aptitude tests and organises career talks and seminars with the help of experts. It updates the students with information regarding higher studies, admission procedures, etc.

  • The Career Guidance and Counselling Cell inaugurated its activities and conducted the Career Awareness Programme on “Overseas Education” on 15.07.2024 for the selective UG students and Mrs.Hema, Branch Manager, Bluestone Overseas Consultant, Erode as the resource person.
  • The Cell has conducted the Awareness Programme on “Central Sector Scholarship for Higher Education” from 04.09.2024 to 10.09.2024 for the first year UG and PG students. The Department Career Guidance and Counselling Cell Coordinators has conducted the programme.
  • The Cell has conducted the Awareness Programme on Global Career Opportunities on 05.09.2024 in association with the Higher Education Club of the Department of Computer Technology and Information Technology and Sony Akkara, International Certified Career Coach, Founder and Director, EasyLink Academy, Coimbatore as the resource persons.
  • The Cell has conducted the Career Awareness Programme on “Civil Service as a Career Option” for the first year UG students on 21.09.2024 in Association with Shankar IAS Academy and Mr. T.Thilakraj, Branch Head and Mr.L.Golula Krishnan, Administration Faculty, Shankar IAS Academy, Salem were the resource persons.

  • The Career Guidance and Counselling Cell has inaugurated its activities and conducted the Career Awareness Programme on "Overseas Education-Challenges and Opportunities" for the UG students on 27.09.2023 and Thiru. Karthikeya Sivasenaapathy, Chairman, Non-Resident Tamil's Welfare Board, Government of Tamilnadu to addressed the programme.
  • The Cell has conducted an Awareness Programme on "Provisions of Right to Information Act" on 11.10.2023 for the UG students and Dr. G.V.Venugopal, Associate Professor, Department of Master of Business Administration, Kongu Arts and Science College was the resource person.
