As part of Skill Transfer Activity ‘Fixing the Unfixed’, a Programme on “Hardware, Mobile Service and software installation” was organized with Student Volunteers demonstrating and training our College students on 23.05.2022.

‘Youth Awakening Day’ was celebrated on 15.10.2020 to mark the occasion of Ex.President Dr.APJ. Abdul Kalam’s Birthday and a special lecture by Mr. Jaya Murugan, President Tamilnadu Science Forum, Salem on ‘Remembering Dr.Kalam-A Rejuvenation of his Vision 2020’ was arranged online via Google Meet (Meeting ID : meet.google.com/tms-ijqe-cqm) for Science forum students.

As part of Celebration of ‘Youth Awakening Day’ an Intra collegiate Essay completion on the topic ‘Vision 2020 in 2020’ was organized for our College students and Cash Prizes were awarded to top Three winners.

Ms.Shifa Anjum of III BSc CDF, Ms.A.Sheerin Sittara of II BSc Physics, Ms. M.Krittika of III BSc Mathematics won the First, Second, Third Prizes and were awarded cash Prize of Rs.1000, Rs.600, Rs.400 respectively.

Our Science Forum students participated in the “ World Space Week – 2019” (WSW-2019) exhibition jointly organized by Satish Dhawan Space Centre – SHAR, Sriharikota, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Tamilnadu School Education Department and Gobi Arts & Science College, Gobichettipalayam at Gobi Arts & Science College, Gobichettipalayam on 05.10.2019.

‘E-Waste Management’ programme is routinely carried out by Science forum students in the Campus and the E-Waste is handed over to “Olirum Erode’ periodically.

Guest lecture on ‘Communication with Aliens’ was organised on 15.02.2020 and Dr.S.Krishnakumar Senior scientific Officer, DRDO , Chennai was the Resource Person.

As part of Extension activity, a Workshop on ‘Computer Hardware’ as well as Awareness Program on ‘E-Waste Management’ were conducted for students of Government High School Students, Kumalankuttai on 12.01.2019.

An Innovative Skill Transfer Activity ‘Fixing the Unfixed’ is conducted with Student Volunteers demonstrating and training the Science forum students in fixing/ repairing Household appliances on 06.02 2019.

‘Astro Club’ is inaugurated by Mr. T.Jaya Murugan, President Tamilnadu Science Forum, Salem to provide a platform for enthusiastic students with celestial passion to learn about the Wonders of Cosmos ,followed with Sky Watching Program on 07.02.2019

‘National Science Day’ was celebrated on 28.02.2019 and various competitions viz., Student Projects, Innovative Idea Contest, Poster Presentation were conducted on the occasion.

Skit Program was arranged on‘Awareness on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Wastes ’ by Science Forum Student Volunteers on 08.08.2017.

Our Science Forum students participated in the Open House Science exhibition on 30.08.2017 -1.09.2017 and won prizes in the Science Exhibit events.
