OBE Monitoring Committee

Outcome Based Education (OBE) Curriculum has been introduced in the Institution for all the programmes from the year 2017-2018 onwards. Outcome Based Education Committee has been constituted in this Institution under IQAC to look into the effective implementation of OBE. The committee designs the process of functioning of OBE in a uniform manner throughout the Institution. The OBE Monitoring Committee reviews the Course outcomes, Programme outcomes and Programme Specific outcomes of all the programmes on a regular basis through the discussions in order to focus on the principles of OBE. The OBE Monitoring Committee organises Seminars, Faculty Development programmes, Workshops and Curriculum Meetings to the teachers, related to outcome based education. The committee has representatives from all the departments.

Responsibilities of the Committee

  • Appointing Department faculty members for members of OBE Committee
  • Arranging training programmes for OBE
  • Assessment of course outcomes at the end of each programme
  • Analysing the improvement in the attainment of each programme
  • Suggesting improvement action plans and revising level of target based on Action Taken Report(ATR)
  • Monitoring the successful implementation of the action taken plan
