CURRICULUM
The curriculum is designed to:
- Offer a participant-centred learning environment and a strong foundation on fundamentals of management.
- Provides a deepened knowledge on various functional areas of management.
- Provide exposure to current and contemporary industry practices through summer internship work and 'management-in-practice.
- Enable holistic development through personalized, Personality Development, Career Counselling, and Outbound programmes.
SPECIALIZATION
- The Department offers Dual specialization.
- Students in their second year are allowed to opt specialization on their own interest.
- The stream of specialisations are : Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance, Systems and Entrepreneurship.
FACULTY
- The Department has a core team of qualified and experienced faculty. Besides, frequent guest lectures are given by eminent personalities from industries and professional bodies who share their valuable experiences with our students and them to learn the latest in management theory and best industry practices. We endow PDP programs and industrial visits to step into the corporate world.
FACILITIES
- The Class rooms are well equipped with excellent facilities like Multimedia projectors, Over head and Slide projectors, etc., to enhance the effectiveness of the teaching / learning process. A well equipped laboratory with 65 terminals connected with LAN. Students and faculty can avail Business Application Packages like MS-Office, Oracle, C++, Java, Tally package, SPSS, Visual Foxpro, etc...
RESEARCH PROGRAMMES
- The Department offers M.Phil (Full-time and Part time) and Ph.D (Part-time) Programs. We have produced 62 M.Phil and 2 Ph.D scholars.
VALUE ADDED COURSES
- The Department is offering two different Add on courses : Start-ups for small business, which is fully practical oriented and a Certificate course in Human Rights Education, for which a certificate of competition is issued by Bharathiar University.

Students Activity
- The students actively participate in various innovative activities in the name “MAKE” (Management Association of Kongu Executives).The activities includes Personality Development, Career Counselling, Outbound training, FESI (Fun and Earn through Smart Innovation) a display of stalls within the campus, and Extension activity.
- Case Analysis: Real time business case analysis are encouraged among students ,which helps to improve their analytical skills.
- Article Reviews: Students have to review an article which is published either in journal / Magazine / Newspaper weekly once .
- Alumni Connect: Many of our alumni are successful entrepreneurs and professionals in India as well as abroad. Our alumni remain in touch with each other and regular social-professional interaction happens through the platform among the alumni, faculty, and students of the institution.

Industry Relation
- CEO Talk and Guest Lecture: We believe in maintaining a strong industry-institution interface. We invite senior executives from industry to our campus to interact with students and faculty on themes that are contemporary, current and of concern to both the industry and the institution.
- Entrepreneurial Talk: Leading entrepreneurs are invited to our campus to share their rich corporate and market experiences with our students.
- Industrial Visit: Students are taken to various industries in frequent intervals to get exposed to the real world of production, processing, Administration, Marketing and Human Resource Management.
