  3. Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management in association with NCC and NSS organized a Social Awareness Rally on the account to celebrate World Tourism Day and tree saplings were distributed to the public on 27.09.2022

  3. The department conducted a Guest Lecture on "BEVERAGE - A Thirst for Knowledge" on 03.01.2019. The session was conducted by Mr. Premkumar, Operation duty manager, INOX Prozone Mall, Coimbatore.
  4. The Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management conducted a National Level Symposium on "RECENT TRENDS IN ACCOMODATION INDUSTRY on 19.02.2019. The Symposium was conducted by Mr. A. Saravanakumar, Exe Housekeeper, Hotel Aloft, Coimbatore; Mr. Anand Krishnan, Exe Front office , Vivanta Surya, Coimbatore and Mr.P.Anjeeshkumar , Buyer Communicator, Coimbatore.

  2. The department organized an Industrial Visit to the Hotel Riveria Suites, Cochin on 13.08.2017 and a field study a regarding Eco Tourism at Parambikulam Tiger Reserve, Parambikulam , Kerala.
  3. The Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management conducted a Workshop in "CHISLER".... the Unique Carver on 08 September 2017. The workshop was conducte by Mrs.Carving C.KARTHICK, Siam Carving Academy, Bangkok, Thailand.
  4. On account, of the World Tourism Day Celebrations, the Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management Conducted a Social Awareness Rally. Students went to Vellode Birds Sanctuary and underwent the cleaning activities and distributed tree saplings to the Vellode village people on 26 September 2017.
  5. The department conducted a Guest Lecture on "ETHICAL FOOD - a phenomenal Stress Relieving Factor for College Students" on 09.01.2018. The session was conducted by Mr.S.DANIEL ROBERT, Asst. Professor Department of Nutrition and Dietics, Dr.NGP Arts and Science College, Coimbatore.

  3. The department organized an Industrial Visit to The Taj Gateway Hotel, Mangalore, On 19.08.2016
  4. The Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management conducted a National Level Seminar on "DIWINE - The Art of Tasting wines" on 22 September 2016. Mr.R.Singaravelavan, Principal, State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Tiruchirappalli was the Chief guest of this function. The Seminar was conducted by Mrs. Spoorthy Krishna, Liquid Art Bar School, Bangalore and Dr. Jayaprakash Jagadeesan, Consultant Psychiatrist, Manathin Maiyam, Erode.
  5. The Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management conducted a Workshop in "Cocktail Making" on 23 September 2016. The workshop was conducted by Mrs.Spoorthy Krishna, Liquid Arts Bar School, Bangalore.
  6. The department of Catering Science and Hotel Management students and staff members have visited the" ISHA YOGA CENTER", Coimbatore on 27.09.2016 in connection with the WORLD TOURISM DAY celebrations.
  7. An Intra Department Symposium "FOOD & SOUL-The Psychology of Our Diet Choice" held on 22.12.2016. Dr.T.Milton, Head, Department of Hotel Management, Asan Memorial College,Chennai and Dr.D.S.Pradeepa, Diet Physician, Coimbatore are the resource persons.
  8. The Department of Catering Science and Hotel management was conducted a Student Enrichment Programme “Table Manners” on 23.12.2016 and 24.12.2016.
  9. The Department of Catering Science and Hotel management was conducted a Campus Interview on 26.12.2016 by “Le Meridien” Coimbatore. Mr. K.Sundar HR and Training Manager and Mr. P.K.Santhosh Room Division Manager was conducted the Interview and recruited the students.

  3. The Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management conducted a Workshop in “JARGON-F&B Service Skills” on 05 August 2015. The workshop was conducted by Mr.Maran Narayanasamy, Crystal Cruise lines, USA.
  4. Industrial visit to Goa was organized by our department and students visited “Park Hyatt Resorts and spa” in August 2015
  5. The Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management conducted a National level Symposium on “The face of Tourism-Dealing with the change” on 23 September 2015. Mr.T.Selvarathinam, Manager-Learning & Development, The TAJ VIVANTA, Coimbatore was the chief guest of this function. The Syposium was conducted by Dr.T.Milton, Head and Associate Professor, Dept of Hotel Management, Asan Memorial College, Chennai and Mr.Ananthahariharan, Career Ladder Consultancy, Coimbatore.
  6. In relation with the World Tourism Day Celebrations the Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management Conducted a Social Awareness Rally and distributed Tree Sapplings to the students on 23 September 2015 which was presided over by Mr.P.Sachidanandan Avl, Correspondent,KASC and Dr.N.Raman,Principal,KASC .
  7. The Department conducted Add-On courses on the following thrust areas Advanced cookery, Basic cookery and Travel and Tourism Management for the students of our college.
