  7. Department of Business Administration and Business Administration with Computer Aplications conducted a State Level Workshop on "Textile Merchandising" on 23.02.2018. The Resource persons of this workshop will be Mr.S.Sundarajan, Harivarada Garment, Chandrapuram, Tiruppur and Jc Du.Velumani, Managing Director: C.A.Textile Lab-Erode/Tiruppur. In this workshop 200 participants from 30 colleges will participate.
  8. Our student P.Karthika of II BBA has won the second prize in business plan event of FACHMANN 2K18 a national level management meet held on 2nd February 2018 conducted by KSR College of Engineering.
  9. Our student R.Arun of II BBA has attended functional textiles and clothing conference from 9-11 February 2018 at FTC 2018 held at IIT Delhi.
  10. Our students Y.Sasikumar and T.N.Varsan of II BBA has won the second prize in business Quiz event of FROLICS 2018on 16th February 2018 conducted by Knowledge Business School,Salem.
  11. Our students S.Sharukkhan of III BBA has won the First Place in Photography event in AVENTURO 2K17 a national level technical symposium held on 7.3.2017 conducted by Kongu Engineering College.

In this event 300 participants from 30 colleges have participated. Eight events were conducted through this programme and cash prize worth Rs.40, 000/- were awarded to the winner’s. The Chief Guest of the Valedictory programme was Thiru. C.Kumarasamy, Patron member, The Kongu vellalar Institute of Technology Trust.

  10. Our students had participated in national level short film festival at Chennai. They also won First Place in intra collegiate short film contest conducted by CT & IT Department.
  11. Our student Mr.E. Roopan raj presented his NCC Directorarate at the NCC National Games from 17.10.2013 to28.10.2013.
  12. Our student MS. B.Heena Daftari won first place in Hindi knowledge competition in Intra collegiate meet.
  13. Our students had participated in more than 10 intercollegiate management meets organized by various Business Schools and won cash prizes to the tune of Rs.10,000.

    3. Our department had organized a spiritual visit to “Arivu thirukovil” Aliyar, for enhancing the practical knowledge about yoga subject for our second B.B.A students on 24.7.2012.
    4. A Industrial visit to Salem steels was organized for III BBM students in order to supplement the practical knowledge on 8.8.2012
    5. Our department Organized a State Level Inter collegiate meet “MANOPOLY 2K12” on 7.9.2012 inaugurated by Erode Mayor and Deputy Mayor. In this event 540 participants from 40 colleges have participated. 7 events were conducted through this programme and cash prize worth Rs.25, 000/- were awarded to the winner’s by Tirupur mayor.

Our department organized a financial training programme for young investors on 4.1.2013 for inculcating the knowledge about investment option for young investors.Trainer of this training programme was SEBI authorized trainer Dr.P.Karthikeyan,Assistant Professor,School of management,Kongu Engineering College,Perundurai.
    8. Creating an averaness about Global warming in young minds our department organized a Plant sapling planting programme.Chief guest of this programme was Thiru A.Venkatachalam,Correspondent,Kongu arts and science college and Kathirampatty panchayat president Mr.Mahalingam.
    9. Our department students donated rs.15000 worth of bedsheets,food items,afternoon lunch,stationery etc to illayabharatham orphanage on 19.1.2013.Chief guest of this programme was Thiru A.Venkatachalam,Correspondent,Kongu arts and science college.
