About the College

Kongu Arts and Science College, established by The Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust in the year 1994, is a premier institution committed towards imparting best education to the young aspirants, thereby fulfilling their divergent needs in the dynamic educational scenario. It is a co-education institution affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The institution has proved its merit and sustains its reputation by producing many gold medalists and numerous rank holders in the University Examinations by the coordinated effort of the dedicated faculty and the Management. The institution has also been reaccredited by NAAC. The college offers seventeen under graduate courses, seven post graduate courses, research programmes and Value Added Courses in various disciplines. The institution provides quality education to the students to equip them with advanced knowledge, to meet the demands and challenges of life.

About the Journal

The Research Cell has proposed to publish an another journal in the field of Applied Sciences in the name of KASC Journal of Applied Sciences. The Journal will incorporate papers that address practical applications and a sound theoretical base. Original Contributions with a deep insight into the subject is expected from the academicians / researchers for publication.

Guidelines to Authors

  • The Journal invites Research Articles/Papers in the areas of Computer Science, Mathematics, Bio-Chemistry, Bio- Technology and Costume Design & Fashion Technology and relevant subjects.
  • The article/paper should be typed in MS Word not exceeding 8 pages.
  • Use a single column layout with both left and right margins justified. Font size: Main Body - 12 pt.; Style: Times New Roman, Paper: A4.
  • The cover page should contain (i) The Title of the article/paper (ii) Authors name (iii) Designation and Department (iv) Official address (v) Phone Numbers and (vi) e-mail id.
  • The paper should start with an introduction, followed by objectives, methods, results, discussions, conclusion and references. References should follow standard APA (American Psychological Association) style.
  • Tables and Figures should be numbered and titled and it should appear in the document near/after where they are referred in the text.
  • The author should send the soft copy of the paper to the email id : kascjas@gmail.com and two hard copies of the manuscript to The Editor, KASC JAS, Kongu Arts and Science College, Nanjanapuram, Erode 638 107 along with signed authors’ declaration mentioning that the paper has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • Abstract should also be submitted along with manuscript.
  • Papers are processed through a blind referral system by experts in the subject areas.
  • Manuscripts are accepted for publication on the understanding that they contain original unpublished work, not submitted for publication anywhere else.
